Anna Ólafsson trained as a painter and printmaker at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, specialising in etching, before commencing engraving studies with Dr Malcolm Appleby MBE FRSE in May 2021. Her studies were generously sponsored by The Worshipful Company of Clockmakers and the Walter Craig Charitable Trust. She currently works alongside Malcolm Appleby at his workshop in Highland Perthshire and from her own workshop in the city of Perth.
