Apprenticed at 17, Harry spent his early years designing and making jewellery in the firm where his grandfather, also named Harry Stokes, had been a partner, before specialising in silversmithing and hand-engraving. He began his company, St Oakes, in 2021, and creates hand-crafted silverware to mark significant occasions, as well as gold signet rings. Harry’s award-winning designs are rooted in established British decorative traditions, reworked through a contemporary silversmithing language. Work is made to order with bespoke imagery or inscription work, with commissions welcome.
